The Latin-American Association of Economy of the Energy, was created in the city of Buenos Aires on April 17, 2011 as member of the International Association for Energy Economics (IAEE).
The ALADEE aims are:
- To allow the professionals' association interested in the topics associated with the economy of the energy in order to create a forum opened of discussion in this subject matter in Latin America in general and in South America especially.
- To facilitate the association of those that are interested in the national chapters already established of the IAEE and to stimulate the formation of new national chapters in the Region.
- To organize in periodic form the Latin-American Meetings of Economy of the Energy (ELAEE) as an area of meeting for the presentation of researches and the discussion of the energetic topics that are interested to the Region.
