CALL FOR PAPERS

We are pleased to announce the Call for Papers for 4 ° Latin-American Meeting of Energy Economics (ELAEE). The conference will be held April 8 - 9th, 2013 in Radisson Montevideo Victoria Plaza Hotel, in beautiful Montevideo, Uruguay.

The deadline for submitting your abstracts is December 15, 2012 (new date). The abstract should consist of one of the below energy topics and overview the research performed, methodology used, results and overall conclusions. Abstracts should not be longer than two (2) pages.

Abstract/Energy Presentation Topics

The following is a list of suggested topics that are of interest, but suggestions out of this these areas are encouraged and will be considered.

· Institutional aspects of the energy industry

The abstract should include the following sections:

• Introduction

• Methodology

• Awaited Results

• References (optional)

As soon as the abstract is approved by the Program Committee, authors will be given until March 1, 2013 to submit their final online proceedings paper to be published on the conference website.

 POSTER SESSION

As a way of encouraging student work in energy economics ALADEE is starting a student poster session. Entrants must be a member of IAEE and a full-time student (where a full-time student is defined as being registered full-time according to the definition of their respective academic institution and not employed full-time) at the time of submission. At this unique event, students will be able to present their recent academic work, completed or in progress, to all conference delegates in a specially designed networking session.

Abstracts for the Poster Session must be submitted to patrick.narbel@nhh.no by the deadline of November 15, 2012. Students will be notified by December 15, 2012, of their poster status. Students whose abstracts are accepted will have until March 1, 2013, to submit their final poster electronically (pdf) for publication in the conference proceedings.

Posters for actual presentation at the conference must be brought by the student directly to the conference venue and must be in A2 size (420 mm wide x 594 mm high) in portrait format.
